March 27, 2020

It has been one week since Governor J.B. Pritzker issued Executive Order 2020-10 “Stay at Home”. We want to assure you that we have taken the health and well-being of you, our community, and staff very seriously. Like you, we are still closely monitoring the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Some of you may have received a “Notice of Rescheduled Court Date Due to COVID-19”  from the McHenry County Circuit Clerk Office with a new court date.  If you have not, Click Here To Search or Check Court Dates.   Note Essential-Services-Only are being offered at this time.

As a law firm, professional legal service are considered essential business operations by the Illinois Department of Commerce. The following are some steps we have taken to mitigate the impact in our office, and on you:

  • We have temporarily suspended our front lobby access, however, we continue to meet with clients as necessary in our office and only a scheduled basis.
  • We continue to sanitize and clean our office daily, and each conference room after each use.
  • Since 2012 we have enabled our employees to work from home. Working from home is not foreign to our staff or lawyers, as a result, we have asked our employees to work from home to safeguard their health and to enable them to work with you in the way that is most comfortable for you. If you need to meet at the office please call to schedule an appointment.
  • We continue to offer free initial consultations even through our video and phone conference systems.
  • We understand that some may find themselves facing financial difficulties we can offer payment plans to meet those situations.
  • We offer online payment via credit card or e-check.

We are committed to assisting you. Our goal is simple: to provide the best services we can possible.
