Honors and Awards:
Meaghan E. Alexander
Earning her undergrad in business, Meaghan was not aware at the time that she would become the lawyer she is today. Initially interested in marketing, Meaghan discovered her interest in law while working at Discover Card. The work she did while working at Discover Card gave her an inside look into how lawyers work and what they do, eventually leading her down the path to becoming an attorney herself. Meaghan advises and represents individual and business clients in matters such as business formation, shareholder agreements, asset/stock sales and purchases, trademark rights, commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate planning, probate, and civil litigation.
Beginning her college career at Cornell College, Meaghan gradated with her B.A. in International Business. She then attended Northern Illinois University, College of Law where she was a recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Award full scholarship and received her Juris Doctor cum laude. Later that same year, she was admitted to practice law by Illinois Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and entered private practice representing clients in McHenry County, Illinois, and surrounding counties.
“Building relationships on mutual respect”, this is one of Meaghan’s main goals when working with any client. She believes that listening to the client and understanding them is the key to success. Meaghan is here to have the tough conversations and assure you are being provided with only the truth.
