Illinois' Humane Care for Animals Act: The Model for a Better World!

Tracy A. McGonigle has been invited to speak at the 32^nd Annual Legal Education Seminar, presented by the Central Illinois Paralegal Association, in conjunction with the McLean County Bar Association, on September 16, 2022, in Bloomington, Illinois. Tracy will give a presentation on Animal Law titled “Illinois Humane Care for Animals Act: The Model for a Better World!”. Tracy has extensive experience with the Humane Care for Animals Act (the Act) not only as an attorney, but as an Approved Humane Investigator managing a team of investigators who investigate complaints of animal abuse and neglect throughout Illinois. She will discuss the criminal and civil powers of the Act and give real-life examples of how it has been used to improve animal treatment and promote humane care. Tracy spoke to the Central Illinois Paralegal Association at their 20^th Annual Legal Education Seminar and is excited to have the opportunity to return for another presentation on animal law! The event kicks off at 8:30 AM on September 16th and Tracy McGonigle will be giving her specific presentation at 1:30-2:00 PM.
