Jacqueline H. Lower

Jacqueline H. Lower practices in the multi-disciplinary areas of employment, discrimination, harassment, and labor law. Her experience renders her versed in civil litigation and practice in state and federal courts. Over her approximately 30 years of practice, Ms. Lower has played a key role in obtaining several summary judgment rulings in federal and state court and successful wins in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She has obtained several no-cause findings with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. She has mediated to successful resolution several charges of discrimination before the EEOC. She provides counsel, evaluation, and representation appertaining to a full range of employment, discrimination, and labor-related matters, including preparing employment policies and handbooks, litigating contract and tort actions (defamation, interference with contractual relationships, whistle-blowing, termination in violation of public policy), and wage and hour law.
